Installation & Contract Terms
A R1,000 sign-up deposit and a 24-month minimum contract apply to AlphaConnect internet services in all areas outside Mtubatuba. Here's what that means — in plain language.

R1,000 Sign-Up Deposit & 24-Month Contract
- A R1,000 sign-up deposit is required when subscribing to an AlphaConnect internet service.
- The R1,000 deposit is not subject to VAT and no VAT is charged on the deposit.
- The deposit covers the 24-month minimum contract period and is refundable upon cancellation of the service, provided that:
- The full 24-month contract period has been completed.
- The account is fully paid and up to date.
- The cancellation complies with AlphaConnect's Terms and Conditions.
- Once the 24-month contract period has been successfully completed, the R1,000 deposit will be refunded to the client upon cancellation of the service.
Equipment Ownership
- All equipment supplied and installed by AlphaConnect as part of the service will remain the property of AlphaConnect at all times.
- Completion of the 24-month contract period does not transfer ownership of the equipment to the client.
- AlphaConnect retains ownership of all equipment supplied and installed as part of the service and reserves the right to recover or remove the equipment when the service is cancelled or terminated.
Early Cancellation / Termination
- If the client cancels or terminates the service before completing the 24-month contract period, the following conditions will apply:
- The R1,000 sign-up deposit will not be refunded.
- All equipment supplied and installed by AlphaConnect will remain the property of AlphaConnect.
- AlphaConnect reserves the right to recover or remove the equipment from the client's premises.
- Any outstanding amounts on the client's account will remain payable in accordance with the AlphaConnect Terms and Conditions.
- These conditions apply to any client-initiated cancellation or early termination before the completion of the 24-month contract period, including cancellations made for reasons permitted under the AlphaConnect Terms and Conditions.
Acknowledgment
By signing up for the AlphaConnect service, the client acknowledges and agrees to the above deposit, 24-month contract, equipment ownership, and early cancellation conditions, together with AlphaConnect's full Terms and Conditions.
