Mtubatuba Installation & Contract Terms

In the Mtubatuba area a R2,000 sign-up deposit and a 24-month minimum contract apply, and equipment ownership transfers to you once the contract is complete.

R2,000 Sign-Up Deposit & 24-Month Contract

  • A R2,000 sign-up deposit is required when subscribing to an AlphaConnect internet service.
  • The R2,000 deposit is not subject to VAT and no VAT is charged on the deposit.
  • The deposit covers the 24-month minimum contract period and is refundable upon cancellation of the service, provided that:
  • The full 24-month contract period has been completed.
  • The account is fully paid and up to date.
  • The cancellation complies with AlphaConnect's Terms and Conditions.
  • Once the 24-month contract period has been successfully completed, the R2,000 deposit will be refunded to the client upon cancellation of the service.

Equipment Ownership

  • All equipment installed by AlphaConnect as part of the service will remain the property of AlphaConnect during the 24-month contract period.
  • Once the full 24-month contract period has been completed, ownership of the installed equipment will transfer to the client.

Early Cancellation / Termination

  • If the client cancels or terminates the service before completing the 24-month contract period, the following conditions will apply:
  • The R2,000 sign-up deposit will not be refunded.
  • All equipment supplied and installed by AlphaConnect will remain the property of AlphaConnect.
  • AlphaConnect reserves the right to recover or remove the equipment from the client's premises.
  • Any outstanding amounts on the client's account will remain payable in accordance with the AlphaConnect Terms and Conditions.
  • These conditions apply to any client-initiated cancellation or early termination before the completion of the 24-month contract period, including cancellations made for reasons permitted under the AlphaConnect Terms and Conditions.

Acknowledgment

By signing up for the AlphaConnect service, the client acknowledges and agrees to the above deposit, 24-month contract, equipment ownership, and early cancellation conditions, together with AlphaConnect's full Terms and Conditions.
